BAYSHORE - Students, staff and parents participated in the annual Living Thanksgiving Activity Day at the Jewish Community Center Preschool South Branch.
On Nov. 13, the Congregation Rodeph Sholom social hall on Bayshore Boulevard was transformed into a Pilgrim and American Indian village. Activities included jewelry and rain-stick making, rock painting, corn planting and food tasting.
The event was organized by Mikki Blumberg, the preschool's science and physical education specialist.
