Published: September 5, 2007

TAMPA - University of Tampa art alumni from around the world will gather on campus to present their recent works in a group exhibit running Friday through Oct. 20 at the Scarfone/Hartley Gallery.

Many are professional artists; others continue a love nurtured in college. Together, they contribute to a lively show of paintings, drawings, prints, digital works, sculptures, ceramics and mixed media.

The public is invited to the free opening reception from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the gallery, in the RK Bailey Art Studios, 310 N. Boulevard.

The show ends with the traditional art brunch, featuring food and an opportunity to meet the artists, view the exhibition and tour the studios. It will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 20. Tickets are $8, and reservations are required.

Call (813) 253-6217 for information and reservations.
