Neighbors Get Organized

HISTORIC HYDE PARK - More than 100 people attended the Historic Hyde Park Neighborhood Association's dinner and membership drive July 26 at Bailey's Catering and Restaurant. Organizers welcomed new members and caught up with longtime residents.
The association's activities include planning social events and hosting the annual home tour fundraiser. Members also are helping with renovations to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4321 on Morrison Avenue, which was damaged by fire last year.
