SOUTH TAMPA - The new officers and directors of the St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary were installed at a recent ceremony at the Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club attended by more than 100 members and guests.
Executive board members are Bonnie Shelton, president; Mary Bowers, president-elect; Linda Cammack, vice president; Helen Gonzalez, recording secretary; Jemma Didia, corresponding secretary; Bob Long, treasurer; and Ted O'Connell, assistant treasurer. Dorothy Delisle was appointed parliamentarian.
Board directors are Marie Baginski, Charlotte Bruckner, Marie Cusmano, Nickie Martinez, Lee Seaman, Bette Lou Stephens, Lynn Suarez and Olga Van Orden.
For the first time in many years, the auxiliary selected an honorary member. Arlene Tromba, who retired in March after 15 years as secretary for the volunteer department, was recognized for her service.
Mary Long also was honored for her two-year term as auxiliary president.
