Sale Helps Injured Student

TAMPA - A garage sale raised more than $500 for a Plant High School student recovering from injuries suffered when she was struck by a car nearly two years ago.
Natalie Rosin held the garage sale at her family's home Dec. 15 as a service learning project for her bat mitzvah on Saturday.
The proceeds will benefit Arielle Serrano and her family. Serrano was severely injured while crossing South Dale Mabry Highway near her school in March 2006. She is a former student of Rosin's mother, Karen, a teacher at Plant High.
