WEST TAMPA - The West Tampa Chamber of Commerce honored E.J. Salcines at a luncheon Tuesday at Higgins Hall, 5221 N. Himes Ave.
Salcines is retiring next month from his seat on the 2nd District Court of Appeal; state law requires that judges retire at age 70. Salcines thanked the audience and spoke of his passion for West Tampa, where he was raised and still lives.
The luncheon drew an estimated 150 guests, including local political and business leaders.
