SOUTH TAMPA - Plant High School inducted 15 members into The Order of the Gold and Black honor society during a ceremony April 22 at the home of senior Alissa Morris. Principal Robert Nelson and sponsor Derek Thomas were the keynote speakers.
The society recognizes top seniors in academics, leadership, community service and extracurricular activities. Students apply during the last semester of their junior year, with 15 being selected and 15 more selected in the first semester of their senior year.
