SOUTH TAMPA - Academy of the Holy Names and Tampa Catholic high schools raised $1,620 in the second annual Play for The Cure volleyball game Oct. 9. Hosted by the academy, proceeds benefit the Florida Suncoast Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The academy won the match, led by seniors Erica Almerico, Maria Laratta and Jessica Gordon, along with junior Nikki Neville and sophomore Annie Swanson. Jesuit High's Blue Tide showed up to support the cause, donning pink shirts.
