PORT TAMPA - Residents can weigh in on a proposed bicycle and pedestrian trail connector along Gandy Boulevard.
A workshop is set for 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Port Tampa Community Center. It will include discussion of plans to connect the trail on the north and south side of Gandy, near the Gandy Bridge.
City landscape architect Laurie Potier-Brown said the city is considering options including a tunnel under the bridge, a boardwalk under the bridge and an overpass across Gandy.
"We would like to get a plan in place and then begin looking for funding options," she said.
