TAMPA - Along with the game, the commercials and the parties, Super Bowl XLIII gave Tampa residents something lasting to celebrate: renovated homes, a new playground, a rehabilitated neighborhood football field and a safety lesson for children, among other enhancements.
Corporations, charitable groups and area residents pulled together to make this Super Bowl memorable and meaningful for many local people, regardless of their NFL football allegiances.
