Resource Center Opens

DAVIS ISLANDS - Tampa General Hospital launched its Patient Education Resource Center on Jan. 28 at a program in the TGH main lobby.

The resource center has computers with links to health-related Web sites and a variety of educational materials. It will help patients find information about a medical condition or procedure.

The resource center was made possible through the TGH Foundation, which helped obtain two grants for the project from the Verizon Foundation.
