A First-Place Orator

SOUTH TAMPA - Allie Christian, a fourth-grader at Gorrie Elementary School, recently placed first at her school for the 4-H/Tropicana Public Speaking Contest.
The contest for fourth- through sixth-graders provides classroom materials for teachers, certificates of participation, medallions for school winners, trophies and summer camp scholarships.
The contest finals are set for April at the Florida State Fairgrounds.
