Proud grads make grade

TAMPA - The comments were similar from parents and family members.
Walking toward the Florida State Fairgrounds or the University of South Florida's Sun Dome, they spoke with pride of their son's achievements, their daughter being the first in the family to graduate from high school, or the relief of having survived raising a teenager. They carried flowers and cameras while nervous graduates fidgeted with the zippers on their gowns.
Commencement ceremonies have come and gone this year, and the new graduates are set to head for work, to school or to travel. Before they go, here are is another look at their big day.
