Don't lose your head

Join the award-winning thespians of the Plant High School Drama Department as they present "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the Plant High Auditorium, 2415 S. Himes Ave.

The Washington Irving classic was adapted by Christopher Cook of the High Voltage Theatre Company of Columbia, S.C.

UMC women set art fest

The United Methodist Women host their 19th annual Arts & Crafts Festival from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Manhattan Avenue United Methodist Church, 4511 S. Manhattan Ave.

The festival features vendors and a salad luncheon. Admission is free, and lunch is $6. For vendor applications or lunch tickets, call (813) 839-3361.

Zoo plans feeding frenzy
Lowry Park Zoo's 23rd annual Zoofari, one of the "wildest" food festivals in the area, is set for 7 to 11 p.m. at the zoo, 1101 W. Sligh Ave.

Food lovers will sample from dozens of Bay area restaurants, enjoy live music and participate in the Art Safari art auction.

Paranormal encounter
Join Tampa Theatre's Paranormal Explorers League this for a guided ghost hunt through the theater, 711 N. Franklin St., from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m.

Trained guides conduct small groups through a four-hour paranormal exploration of the historic grand movie palace. The explorer's package includes midnight hors d'oeuvres, a log book and commemorative button and photo.

Tickets are $50 and available at the Tampa Theatre box office, call (813) 274-8286.

Sunday

Top chefs set adrift

All aboard the Holland America cruise ship MS Ryndam, moored at Tampa Cruise Terminal 3, for a Cruising for the Cure Top Chef event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Join culinary talent from Malio's, Restaurant BT and Bin 27 Bistro as they battle for "Tampa Bay's Top Chef." The chefs will prepare dishes for food critics inside the ship's state-of-the-art culinary institute, and cameras allow the audience to be part of every slice, dice and puree. Proceeds benefit the Children's Cancer Research Group.

Classical concert

The Tampa Oratorio Singers open their 2009-10 season with the powerful "Lord Nelson Mass" by Haydn, and the moving "Song of Destiny" by Brahms, at 4 p.m. at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church, 3501 San Jose St.

Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and $5 for students. For information, call (813) 963-6329.
