Well, baseball fans, it's been an intriguing season filled with blockbuster trades, comeback players, underachieving talent and, yes, a few diamonds in the rough. However, with fantasy football season starting soon, this will be my final article in print for the 2008 season. New articles will be accessible every Friday at TBO.com until the end of the regular season. Fans Need To Learn How To Handle Success As Tampa Bay celebrates the Rays' winning season, I think it is important to make sure fans learn how to win with class. Baseball is America's pastime and is typically enjoyed by people of all ages. The fans a winning season has brought to the ballpark, however, seem more interested in bragging rights and chest beating. They use foul language and engage in actions embarrassing to a parent, to a fan, to a citizen of the community. The Rays have had to learn how to win together. Fans now need to do the same. Bring your mitt, bring your enthusiasm, but leave the trash at home. ...more
