TAMPA - A native of Queens, N.Y., will be one of the top planners behind Super Bowl XLIII at Raymond James Stadium in January, according to promotions made at the Tampa Police Department on Wednesday. Marc Hamlin, who has been a captain in District 3 in East Tampa, became the new major in charge of the Special Support Division, which includes tactical, K-9 and marine officers and the safety coordination of the Super Bowl, the department said.
